Interesting article on the nation wide safety drill that may or may not have taken place at your school on Wednesday afternoon.  I heard mumblings over the loud speaker about it but my coteacher told me to ignore it and keep teaching.  However, it became hard to ignore when there were sirens going off and the vice principal was yelling into the school’s PA system.  It’s even more...

Life before sound...
The audio on my computer decided to stop working on Monday.  I’ve tried everything from virus scans, system restores, new audio drivers.  I can no longer watch movies/TV or listen to music on my worthless $600 piece of plastic.  So, I need YOUR book recommendations…

Korea to offer commercially viable...
This is pretty amazing.  Technology is advancing at mind blowing speeds but lets see a robot plan lessons around skyping family members back home, sandwich making and throwing candy around the class like it’s going outta style…this robot’s got nothing on me!

College entrance exams
I’ve always heard about this….now I get to witness it. lauraeff: Don’t honk your horn tomorrow, or you could be arrested! It is the day the high school students all across Korea take their entrance exams, and they are not taken lightly.  Planes cannot fly all morning, and most businesses and even the stock market will not open until 10 to make sure the students have complete silence...
